Stop Hiding Your Radiance: Why Your Inner Rose is Ready to Bloom

What if everything we have been longing for - our confidence, our strength, our unshakeable sense of worth - has been within us all along, resting quietly like a Rose in winter, waiting for the right moment to bloom?

We have felt it, haven't we? That subtle awakening deep inside when we glimpse the truth of who we are beneath the layers of fear and old stories. It is the same life force that drives a Rose to break through concrete, unstoppable and unapologetic, that refuses to be contained, no matter what stands in its way.

The Garden of Our Soul

Right now, within us, there is a living garden. Some parts are in full bloom, soaking up the sunlight and drawing admiration. And, in the quiet corners, there are hidden spaces - shadowed places where our most radiant Roses remain tightly closed, still waiting for permission to unfold.

These are not ordinary flowers. They are the parts of us that were silenced when someone told us we were "too much," or "not enough." They hold the dreams buried beneath practicality, the voice that learned to whisper instead of sing, the brilliance that chose hiding over sparkling.

Yet, those Roses are still alive. They haven't given up. They are pressing toward the light, ready to unfurl in ways that will leave us in awe. And now? Now is the moment to help them bloom.

The Thorns That Bind

Every gardener knows the most exquisite Roses often come with thorns. Our inner garden is no different. The very experiences that pierced us - the rejection, the criticism, the moments when our light felt too bright for others - became the thorns we grew for protection.

Over time, we learned to:

  • Shrink to make others comfortable

  • Say yes when our soul screamed no

  • Doubt the very instincts that could set us free

  • Hide our brilliance behind a mask of "normal"

And slowly, petal by petal, we closed ourselves off from the world that wasn't ready for our full bloom.

🌹✨ Our inner Rose never forgot. 🌹✨

Even in the darkest soil of struggle, even when storms battered our confidence, even when well-meaning hands tried to prune away our wildness - our Rose held on. It anchored itself deep, storing sunlight in its roots. It gathered strength in the shadows. It waited.

And now? Now it is ready. Ready to show us what we are truly made of.

Breaking Through the Concrete

Roses don't wait for perfect conditions. They rise through cracks in concrete. They bloom in places no one thought possible. They turn harsh winters into spectacular springs.

Our power works the same way. It doesn't need permission. It doesn't need certainty. It only needs us to remember what has always been true: beneath every fear, every doubt, every "you can't" is a force that cannot be contained.

This is where transformation begins. Not in the comfort but in the very places where we have been holding back, tightening our petals and playing small in a world that is starving for our full bloom.

The Unfolding Begins Now

What if we gave ourselves permission to unfold? Not in a rush - Roses don't bloom all at once. Layer by layer, choice by choice, breath by breath.

What if we trusted that what we have been hiding - our sensitivity, our intensity, our vision - is the very thing the world needs most?

The Rose within us doesn't demand perfection. It asks for presence. For courage. For the quiet rebellion of saying "I matter. My bloom matters. My sparkle matters."

Ready to Let the Thorns Soften?

Sometimes the patterns of hiding run deep. So deep that sheer willpower isn't enough to shift them. That's when we need something more. Something that speaks to both the conscious and unconscious mind, dissolving fear at its roots.

That is where tapping comes in.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a gentle, yet powerful method that helps release old stories, calm the nervous system and create space for authentic transformation. It is like giving your inner Rose the sunlight and water it has been craving all along, so it can bloom without fear.

Are you ready to clear the thorns and let your true colours shine?

Tapping Sequence 1: Softening the Thorns (Releasing Fear + Self-Doubt)

Before We Tap: A Moment to Pause

Take a deep, gentle breath. Feel our feet on the floor, our body supported. There is nothing to fix - notice what is here.

If we have been wrapping ourselves in protective thorns, keeping our petals closed or fearing that the world might reject our bloom, we are not alone. These thorns didn't appear by accident. They grew from old hurts. Times when criticism stung. Times when rejection cut deep. Times when shining our natural light didn't feel safe.

Before we begin tapping, let us check in with where we are. Use the SUDs scale (Subjective Units of Distress):

  • 0 = My petals are open, thorns are gone and I feel completely safe to bloom.

  • 10 = My thorns are wrapped tight, petals are locked and I feel very unsafe to open up.

Just notice where you land. There is no judgment here - just information.

Now, let us start with the Setup Statements.

Setup Statements: Repeat the three setup statements while gently tapping on the Side of the Hand (SOH) point, saying aloud:

  1. "Even though I have been holding onto these thorns of protection, I deeply and completely love and accept myself."

  2. "Even though part of me is afraid to open my petals, I choose to be gentle with myself anyway."

  3. "Even though I have been hiding to stay safe, I choose to love and accept myself."

Tapping Through The Points

  1. Top of Head (TOH) Point:

Located directly on the crown of the head.

o "All these thorns I have been holding."

  1. Eyebrow (EB) Point:

Located at the start of the eyebrow, near the bridge of the nose.

o "They have kept me safe and small for so long."

  2. Side of Eye (SE) Point:

Located on the bone at the outer corner of the eye.

o "I appreciate how hard they have worked for me."

  3. Under Eye (UE) Point:

Located on the bone directly under the eye.

o "Maybe they have done their job already."

  4. Under Nose (UN) Point:

Located between the nose and the upper lip.

o "What if I could let them soften just a little?"

  5. Chin (CP) Point:

Located in the crease between the lower lip and chin.

o "I have been carrying this fear for a long time."

  6. Collarbone (CB) Point:

Located just below the collarbone, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) from the base of the throat.

o  "It feels scary to open my petals."

  7. Under the Arm (UA) Point:

Located on the side of the body, about 10 cm (4 inches) below the armpit.

o "What if it could feel safe now?"

Take a slow, deep breath. Let your shoulders soften. Check back in with your SUDs number - has it shifted even slightly? If your SUD score hasn't lowered, repeat the tapping sequence a few more times, adjusting the words to reflect how you are feeling now.

Tapping Sequence 2: Calling in Your Power

Setup Statements: Repeat the three setup statements while gently tapping on the Side of the Hand (SOH) point, saying aloud:

  1. "Even though I have kept my petals closed for so long, I deeply and completely accept myself."

  2. "Even though I have been afraid to sparkle, I honour and accept myself and how I am feeling."

  3. "Even though l have played small to feel safe, I choose to stop hiding my radiance and accept myself anyway."

The Garden Awaits

The Rose doesn't apologise for transforming. It doesn't seek permission to bloom or sparkle. It simply responds to life, opening to the sun, unfolding its petals without hesitation or doubt. That same unwavering power lives within us.

Our inner Rose has endured the winters of hiding, the seasons of playing small, the times when we believed smallness was safety. Now? Now the call is here.

The thorns served their purpose - they protected us when we were vulnerable. Yet, that protection was never meant to last forever. They were only there to give us time to grow strong enough to transform, bloom and sparkle without fear.

Are you ready to let the thorns soften and unfold into your power? Book your tapping session with me today and discover how tapping can gently release what has been holding you back - so your authentic radiance can finally sparkle through.

Our magnificent bloom is not a distant dream. It is our birthright. And the garden of your life is ready for this brilliance to flourish now.
