June's dying breath carries a particular weight - that suffocating urgency where everything screams for completion: abandoned projects, overflowing inboxes, conversations left hanging in the space between courage and exhaustion.

If you are reading this with tired eyes and a racing heart, you know this feeling intimately. You are the one who gives until empty, who carries others' burdens as naturally as breathing, who whispers quiet dreams while the world demands your constant service. I used to live here too - in that relentless space where my worth felt tied to how much I could accomplish for everyone else.
Right now, that familiar voice is probably stirring: You are falling behind. Time is running out. Everyone is counting on you. Rest is selfish.
Your body begs for stillness while your mind insists on motion. Your heart craves tenderness while your schedule demands relentless productivity. You have forgotten that your worth isn't measured by how much you produce or how perfectly you perform for others.
Here is what I know about you: you are a Rose who has been convinced that blooming isn't enough - that you must also be the gardener, the soil and the rain. You have been taught that your beauty means nothing without your utility.
Every Rose requires seasons of rest. Every bloom needs moments of simply existing without justifying its presence.

Tapping Sequence #1: This Is Too Much for Me to Carry
Before We Tap: A Gentle Check-In
Take a soft moment to check in with yourself - no judgment, just honesty.
Before we begin tapping, let us use the SUD Scale - Subjective Units of Distress - to tune into how you are feeling about the pressure you have been under and the emotional fatigue that has built up.
On this scale:
0 means you feel calm, clear and steady, rooted in your centre, with space to breathe.
10 means everything feels like too much - your energy is frayed, the pace is too fast, and you are not sure how to keep going.
There is no right or wrong. This is simply an invitation to notice, gently and truthfully.
Where would you place yourself, from 0 to 10? Make a quiet mental note or write it down. We will return to this after the tapping - to see what may have softened, released, or unfolded…even just one petal at a time. 🌹
Please take a deep breath and begin tapping with me.
Setup Statements: Repeat the three setup statements while gently tapping on the Side of the Hand (SOH) point, saying aloud:

"Even though I feel like I have been running on empty, I choose to deeply and completely love and accept myself as I am."
"Even though I have been pushing through the pressure and I can feel it in my stiff neck, I honour how I feel and accept myself anyway."
"Even though part of me believes I have to keep going, I give myself permission to slow down and I deeply and completely love and accept myself."
Tapping Points:
Top of Head (TOH) Point:
Located directly on the crown of the head.
o "This is too much."
Eyebrow (EB) Point:
Located at the start of the eyebrow, near the bridge of the nose.
o "I have been pushing so hard."
Side of Eye (SE) Point:
Located on the bone at the outer corner of the eye.
o "There hasn’t been time just to breathe."
Under Eye (UE) Point:
Located on the bone directly under the eye.
o "It feels like I can’t stop."
Under Nose (UN) Point:
Located between the nose and the upper lip.
o "So much pressure to get it all done."
Chin (CP) Point:
Located in the crease between the lower lip and chin.
o “To end the month with a bang."
Collarbone (CB) Point:
Located just below the collarbone, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) from the base of the throat.
o "To prove I am strong and capable."
Under the Arm (UA) Point:
Located on the side of the body, about 10 cm (4 inches) below the armpit.
o "Even Roses need rest."
Take a slow, deep breath in... and let it go gently. Tune back into the feeling about the weight you have been carrying. Where are you on the SUD scale now, from 0 to 10?
Tapping Sequence #2: Letting Go of Guilt Around Rest + Saying No
Re-rate your SUD level, then begin.
Setup Statements: Repeat the three setup statements while gently tapping on the Side of the Hand (SOH) point, saying aloud:
"Even though I feel guilty when I pause, I deeply and completely love and accept myself."
"Even though it feels selfish or wrong to say no, I choose to honour who I am and how I feel."
"Even though I have believed I had to keep doing more to be enough, I now give myself permission to value rest and stillness."
Tapping Points
Top of Head (TOH) Point:
Located directly on the crown of the head.
o "This guilt when I rest.
Eyebrow (EB) Point:
Located at the start of the eyebrow, near the bridge of the nose.
o "Like I should be doing more."
Side of Eye (SE) Point:
Located on the bone at the outer corner of the eye.
o "I feel uncomfortable saying no."
Under Eye (UE) Point:
Located on the bone directly under the eye.
o "Like I am letting people down."
Under Nose (UN) Point:
Located between the nose and the upper lip.
o "Always needing to prove I am helpful and capable."
Chin (CP) Point:
Located in the crease between the lower lip and chin.
o “Carrying this old belief that rest is weakness."
Collarbone (CB) Point:
Located just below the collarbone, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) from the base of the throat.
o "Part of me still buys into that story."
Under the Arm (UA) Point:
Located on the side of the body, about 10 cm (4 inches) below the armpit.
o "And I am open to releasing it now."
Take a deep breath. Feel what softens.
Tapping Sequence #3: Releasing the Need to Do + Returning to Who I Am
Re-rate your SUD level, then begin.
Setup Statements: Repeat the three setup statements while gently tapping on the Side of the Hand (SOH) point, saying aloud:
"Even though I have been caught up in doing and proving, I deeply and completely accept who I am."
"Even though I forgot to just be, I choose to honour how I feel and accept myself anyway."
"Even though feel tired and disconnected from myself, I honour where I am and give myself permission to value rest and stillness."
Tapping Points
Top of Head (TOH) Point:
Located directly on the crown of the head.
o "I have been doing so much."

Eyebrow (EB) Point:
Located at the start of the eyebrow, near the bridge of the nose.
o "Trying to keep up."
Side of Eye (SE) Point:
Located on the bone at the outer corner of the eye.
o "Trying to be everything to everyone."
Under Eye (UE) Point:
Located on the bone directly under the eye.
o "And I forgot how to just be."
Under Nose (UN) Point:
Located between the nose and the upper lip.
o "I miss my presence."
Chin (CP) Point:
Located in the crease between the lower lip and chin.
o “I long to come home to myself."
Collarbone (CB) Point:
Located just below the collarbone, about 2.5 cm (1 inch) from the base of the throat.
o "I miss the radiance of who I am."
Under the Arm (UA) Point:
Located on the side of the body, about 10 cm (4 inches) below the armpit.
o "It is time to return to who I am.
Take a moment right now. Feel your heart. Notice what happens. This isn't about surrendering your dreams or abandoning your responsibilities. This is about recognising that your energy is sacred currency - and you have been spending it everywhere except on yourself.
Your wellness isn't negotiable. Your worth was never determined by how much you could produce, fix, or perfect for others. You are not a productivity machine wrapped in human skin.
You are a Rose. And Roses don't apologise for needing water, sunlight and seasons of rest.
